Over 150 parishioners and other well wishers were served a sumptuous meal by the Knights of Council 1429.  Special thanks go out to the members of the St Joseph’s Raise the Roof committee who worked tirelessly to help make this event the success that it was.

The “soup-off” between Brothers John Ramsay and Deacon Lyle fortunately resulted in an amicable tie with both donating the “bet” money to the roof fund.

The net proceeds of about $700, which included $125 from the 50-50 draw, was donated to St Joseph’s parish to help offset the costs of repairs to the roof.

We can’t wait to do this again!
